Bitstrips, ToonDoo, and Pixton: Create Comic Strips

I use a Pixton for Fun account.  You must be 19 or have parent permission to obtain the account.  Confirmation email was sent to my spam.

Pixton provides an embed code for Blogger (see the example below), or students can take a screenshot and add it to an MBC discussion.

Pixton works on a MacBook; they are developing an iPad version.  Pixton for school has a 30 day free trial if you wish to set up classes for a project.

ToonDoo works great on a Macbook.  The image can be "saved" to the computer and uploaded to MBC or can be embeded in a blog post (see the example below).  You cannot create a ToonDoo on an iPad.

Bitstrips is app based, but at this point requires Facebook sign-in.  They claim this will change soon.  Bitstrips is free; the school version has a 30 day free trail and costs after that.

Toontastic cannot save work tot he camera roll unless you upgrade to a paid account.
